Robert J. Ault

Since graduating from law school, Robert Ault has devoted his practice to representing the rights of those accused of criminal charges. Prior to joining the Law Offices of James C. Egan, Robert worked for the Association of Attorneys for the Accused, where he provided representation for various types of charges, including hundreds of DUI and Domestic Violence cases. Since then, he has limited his practice to defending those accused of DUI and other related charges.

Robert is an aggressive and skilled advocate with extensive courtroom experience. He has handled over 100 Department of Licensing hearings and has received specialized training in many subjects relating to DUI, including DUI Drug Recognition Investigation. Further, Robert is a NHTSA-Qualified Administrator of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.

Robert initially gained experience in the area of criminal law while working in the King County Prosecutors Office. He is a member of several legal organizations including the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Washington Defender Association and the King County Bar Association. Robert is a long-time resident of King County, as he grew up in Bellevue, graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Speech Communication in 2000 and graduated from Seattle University School of Law after spending a year with the Corporation for National Service.
